So many people today get down and discouraged because they only focus on their present circumstances. They’re constantly dwelling on their problems, what they don’t have, and what’s wrong with them. They don’t realize it, but they’re allowing the enemy to steal their hope. This negative frame of mind is what keeps people from moving forward in life.

Understand today that faith is confidence and assurance about the things we hope for according to the promises of God. Like an arrow, your faith points to the target of hope. If you don’t have hope, that arrow of faith has nothing to aim for. It won’t accomplish anything. But when you keep your hopes up, when you keep expecting and believing, it’s like making that target larger and larger and easier to hit!

Choose today to live with an attitude of expectancy. Don’t focus on your circumstances; focus on your God! Get your hopes up! Take captive every negative thought. As you focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness, you’ll feel that hope inside of you growing. Give your faith a target and move forward confidently in the direction of your dreams!

But right now,I’m not too sure Lord - if it has just been me hoping all along and You didn’t want any of it to happen.

What is LOVE?

He Defines it.

Teach me Lord, How to love the way You do. I’m frustrated, I’m disappointed.. Lord I’m drawing strength from You each day.

If i ever forget…

Thank you Lord for granting me such a self-sacrificial mum. I used to think she always opposed me, she screams and never discusses, she uses material ways to coax us and maybe she doesn’t know what love really is…

But I was wrong for being too judgmental, too immature in my thinking…

Love might not be expressed physically through words or hugs, and in my opinion, the most impactful love is one that displays itself subtly and un-extravagantly. 

Lord, I just pray Lord that one day I’ll learn how to love like mum does. And i pray Lord that you’ll grant her greatest wish. We’re waiting for you to work through in this.

Lord I come with an expectant heart Lord. I know You will reveal Your way in time to come.

I just pray that in the meantime I will continue to be patient and persevere, be faithful to what You’ve called me to do. Help me Lord, it gets really tough sometimes, discouraging..

Be ever merciful.

At the end of this, I know Lord that You are faithful. 

Thank You Lord. You meet me when I need You the most.

I know because I’ve tasted it
